well im a senior in highschool and its the all time factor of deciding colleges but i think majors play a huge role into it. I want to go into communications rhetoric or business administration/management. its probably near impossible to double for both of them. I want business for my career and communications for self interest and good time at college. I know im going for an MBA afterwards would picking one be easier? communications has a rpetty strong relationship with business now adays? any advice?

I hope this helps...I was a business major and changed to communications (journalism and broadcasting) later which is what my B. A. is in.... I worked for nine years in radio and TV. It's a very changing industry with pressure for ratings and competition from XM and Sirius as well as the internet. You can't go wrong with a business degree. I will tell you though, it's so broad-based you might find yourself confused about just exactly WHAT in business you'd like to do.
Good luck to you.

Talk to someone in the Career Services office at your prospective college(s) and pose the same question to them. Business admin/management is the safer route, but communication is vital as well. Whatever decision you make, you can always change your mind later if you find you are unsatisfied.
