What do they offer? If it is Scotchgard protectant for the carpet and cloth it is worth it. This is amazing stuff. I have had it in several GM vehicles and a wet cloth once removed an entire plate of spaghetti sauce from my front seat without a trace, a cloth seat mind you, one swipe with a cloth and it came right off. I swear by Scotchgard now. For the leather, you can buy a leather cleaner and protectant at the local parts store, and clean yourself. The leather I would say you can take care of yourself, if it is cloth and carpet, let them apply the protectant, it is worth it. Especially if you have kids, like me.

What color is your interior? I had an '04 CTS with light tan interior. Needless to say, my '06 has all black, lol. They put something on it before I bought it and how would I even know if it worked, ya know. Leather usually can just be cleaned and conditioned whenever needed and doesnt really need a protectant I would think. Unless you want something on it to prevent long term damage such as cracking or fading from the sun (which tint will help minimize). Go to your dealer and see what they recommend.

As far as carpet, if its a light color I would get it treated with something. I could throw my mats into the washing machine and clean my light carpets but some dirt just wouldn't come out. Maybe a ScotchGuard or something??? Again, ask your dealer.

Hmmmmm ... first, do you have kids that will be riding in your new Benz? If so, I think the answer is obvious.
But then again, the first question that comes to my mind is, if you can afford a NEW Benz, why are you even worried about it? You can always just pull out the worn interior and replace it or better yet, just buy another new one!

buying a new Benz and wondering if to spend a little more for interior protection.....what is wrong with this picture? Go buy a ford ( stripped down of course ).

YES!!!

Doing this will protect the interior and might be warrenteed by Benz if done by them. Also you might have paid alot for the car but it will cost more later if you don't
