I have the oppurtunity to get interviewed for a job at BOEING to assemble 747 wings... first I dont know anything about planes, welding any of that good stuff, but it pays 15.53/hour with great benefits, its from 2pm-12am(midnight) you get 40 hours every week with as much OT as you want and if you work over 240 hours in a month the OT becomes double pay...I'm ready for a career, should I do it? just want some reassurance!

It sounds like something you want to do and can learn. I don't know what your current job is, but if this sounds like something you would like, then go for it.

Many times we are stuck in a job we don't like because of fear of moving on. The people that are on the lookout for better opportunities and grab them when they come along are the happiest.

10 years from now, if you passed on this, would you be ok with it? Would you be happy doing something else or would you have wondered where this might have taken you?

Do you like the idea of putting wings together and help building an aircraft?

If they are willing to offer you on the job training I'd go for it because it would be an awesome opportunity for you career wise because the money is good and because you can join a union that will protect you and the benefits will be great!
GO FOR IT!

Go for it. You'll learn a lot, and any job that provides you new opportunites for learning is always a good stepping stone to the future. Boeing has a good rep, too.

Learn, grow, work hard.
