The question should be 'how do you feel about the media deceiving us to make a profit'. The control of information and its distribution is a very powerful medium and there are many players who want to control it for their own gains. We, the public get told pretty much what the governments and big business want us to hear, end of story. To oppose this abuse of power is gallant and all, but in the end it all falls on deaf ears. Quite often its the very media itself with its embellishments and misinformation that inflames a relatively minor situation into one of major consequence, all for the sake of the mighty dollar and bugger anyone who gets hurt or in the way.

They deceive us at all times when it comes to government and politics--at least in my area. We live in a totally biased area where TV and newspapers practice brainwashing.

It's more like "does the drive-by media always deceive us , or at times do they ever tell the truth "?
Newsweek ought to change it's name to "Newsweak" .

The media is not a non-profit, they need to make money, so if they have to lie to get a buck they will.

They never give the full truth. They exist to sell advertising so they will give whatever biased version their advertisers want.
