If you two are best friends and he's already talked to you about being gay, you might get the best answer by asking him. It's possible he's bi, or maybe it's just that he's close to you. What's important for you is how you feel about him, and really hon, if he's your good friend and just wants to try sex with a women, you might want to really think about what it is that you want. Don't be in a rush. Sex is best with someone you love, and maybe not the best for you if he really is a gay man. Maybe you both could talk some more about it.

When you're seventeen and gay, there's a lot of things that go through you head. At that age, all I wanted is to be or feel normal, so I began to think that I could deny myself my gayness because I wanted the American Dream- wife, kids, dog, house with picket fence, etc etc.
As I got older I began to realize that I would have been living a lie if I tried to pursue this dream, and would ultimately be miserable, not to mention that I would probably really hurt the woman I married.
I would recommend you stay his friend, but if he is gay, don't pursue anything with him romantically, and support and encourage him to be more accepting of his sexuality.

Most guys know that women LOVE gay men, and want to be around them. So in order for them to get into a woman's pants they pretend to be gay.
So maybe your gay friend isn't really gay but just pretending to be that so he can start a relationship with you, because maybe if he was straight acting, you'd skip him and go onto the next guy.

You don't want to deal with any guy who is remotely curious about being gay. You might start dating and he'll need to experiment or something. No real man entertains the thought. You need a guy who has never had a gay thought in his life.

When I was young I experimented and was technically bi until I met Cindy Roberts and that first kiss changed everything for me. I knew from that point on I was straight.

He might be bi.
He might still be working on being ok with being gay. Sometimes gay people feel like they "should" have a wife and kids anyway despite being gay.
He might be legitimately confused.
He might be being pressured to date women by his parents, peers, church, culture, etc.

its a great line for a guy to use to get a piece of a$$.
Girl feels sorry he is a gay and elated to be able to help him mend his ways and become straight, even at the sacrifice of her virginity if necessary. You go girl.
like i said,,,,its a great line to use to get some.
then again, if he is cute and you want to screw him, go for it. and then, after you two are done, make arrangements for one of his gay buddies to join you two for a 3-some. maybe he isnt as gay as you think. its a great line.
