My boyfriend and I both live in dorms at the moment. I plan to finish this year out living in the dorm, which is cool. I've been looking into apartments for next year, and I found some that are cheaper than dorms and close to campus. They are 2 bedroom apartments, so he and I could share a room and have a roommate to split the rent 3 ways. How can I talk him into getting the apartment? Is there a good time to ask?

Just tell him that in the long run it will save both of you money and you will have more room. Talk about it sometime over dinner or another relaxed time.

Three people ina 2 bedroom apt is a disaster waiting to happen!
Seen this fall apart waaaay tooo many times!

Maybe he isn't ready for the "apartment thing" yet? Beside yr both in school. Why not give yr relationship time, if it's real- then u have the rest of yr life to have the "apartment thing"?

not a good idea or you would already know. besides has he brought it up to you? what couple really wants a room mate anyway...find two girl friends and get a place.
