It depends on the person and the vibe I get from them. I never hug someone I just meet, only friends, and even among friends that is selective. I will kiss hello only my man, even if it's just a peck. I tend to be a handshaker for most people I just meet.

I'm a hugger as long as long as it's family or friends...or others I may know fairly well...hand shake and hello for most others, works just fine until I get to know you...But every time I see my boys and my family I give and receive hugs... Always got to love those hugs...=)

Well, if it's someone I know, then I will greet them with a hug, but if it's someone I'm meeting for the first time, I will greet them with a firm hand shake and introduce myself.

a lot depends on who they are to me. some i greet with a lot of respect and just a simple hello Ma'am or Sir, others i give hugs to and there's some i give a hug and kiss too.

European here never been hugged, and never want to be hugged. I shake hands or has to be very good friend to kiss on both checks

i'm not into physical contact with just acquaintance. just a hello and hi will do for me... the kissing both cheeks for ladies is a bothersome to me....
