i have a bunch of old coins that i'm looking to sell.

You are looking for a magazine called Coin Prices issued by Krause Coins, available at most book stores for under $4, it is the most reliable source of pricing information.

But before you get excited, please remember that older is not always better, I have seen far too many people thinking they have hit the jackpot, only to be crushed when faced with the reality of the coin world.

Information is power, so you may wish to read the section in Coin Prices on Mint Marks, and Condition(grading)

Was gonna tell you to buy a coin book,,,, also check with coin dealers,, they deal only in coins.
