"In a scandal that will likely take down the entire House Republican leadership, everyone is wondering why Rep. Mark Foley, Chairman of the Missing and Exploited Children's Caucus was allowed to carry on his predatory behavior with a teenage boy a year after his relationship was revealed to party leaders.

Is there anything these Republicans won't cover up? Duke Cunningham took millions of dollars in bribes. The people who were buying him off bought him a yacht called the Duke-Stir. He had a bribe menu on Congressional letter head. How many ethics investigations? Zero. Zilch. Nada.
Bob Ney took gifts and favors from Jack Abramoff. He has confessed and is about to go to prison. How many ethics investigations? Zero. None. Not one.

Then there is Hastert's shady land deal. Bill Frist's insider trading. Tom DeLay's money laundering. The list goes on. Every one of them had their *** covered by the rest of their Republican colleagues, crooks, whatever. http://www.alternet.org

True! And just how are these behaviors tolerated by christian fundamentalists? Do you have to pull a loaded garbage barge down their street for them to start smelling something bad? Let's whip out that Bible with the 10 commandments and review these acts!

Why do Democrats commit the same acts and get applause on the Senate floor. I am not excusing certain Republicans behavior but the Republicans kick them out, the Democrats applaud them.

Why is it that brainwashed democrats cannot win at the ballot box and have to rely on scandels instead of their ideas, thats right they have none.

Hmmm...Ted Kennedy killed a woman in a car accident. Bill Clinton had sex with an intern. Cynthia McKinney hit a Capitol Police Officer and called it much ado about a hairdo. New Jersey Gov James McGreevy had a homosexual affair with his aide. California Gov. Gray Davis got recalled. So, when will their blind stop following the blind.

The last member of Congress to be expelled -- after having been convicted of multiple felonies -- was Ohio Democrat Jim Traficant.

You aren't going to win ANY people over to your side with tirades like this.

we feel ya (60% of us anyway).

But allegedly all it takes is 40% of the vote to win an office, so long as black people in floridas votes arent counted, and ohio votes on machines made by a republican owned company with no oversite.

Amazing. Now go look at the list of crimes the Dems have committed over the years, and then pull your head out of the darkness. They are all POLITICIANS. If you think one party or the other is at all superior, I feel bad for you....THAT is true blindness!

It's just the Republicans turn. The thing that makes it bad for them is they preach family values. The Democrats don't preach that at all. They believe what religion you are is just fine, what you do in your bedroom is just fine, what job you hold is just fine. Just don't but your nose in other peoples business like the Republican religious right!! Now their God is striking down on them for all of their lies.
