Bearing in mind, if I killed my father before I was born, firstly I would never be conceived nor would I be in the timeline, but if cant kill my father I would be conceived and would have had the opportunity to go back and kill him, but if I managed to kill him before I was conceived I would never be in the timeline? in the first place? Or would I?

you mess with future past and present in this tripping of yours, that i have to say is very true. your question is right and it explains all lot of aspects of time travel. onee you are in the present all are normal but when you return to the past at that time you present is the past and somewhere in your future there is your present.
there is the cause and effect phenomeno where every single phenomeno is imortant. Hawkins says that any event that takes places influences and is influenced by time and space as entity.
therefore you birth and all your activities thereafter would affect "living" and would get affected according to this theory.
so unless the person you would kill is not your real father ( there used to be a handsome milkman, postamn plumber around that age) then you would not be able to exsist therefore you could not come back and kill your dad.
it is described succesfully in the latest edition of the Time Machine" movie.
But the moment you kill your dad you seize to exsist therefore you die but if you die you could not have killed you father because you would have been borned therefore you could not copme back and kill him.
see how complicated this is.

no because if you werent concieved then he cant be your father until the event happens ,so you wouldnt be here before that to kill him,and no time line for you till conception. and if there was a way then you couldnt get the answer from this question,since you wouldnt be here with no conception........so,,um what he do?

Yes, you could. Of course, upon returning from your trip, nobody would know who you are, given that in the space/time continuum that you now reside, you were never born.

You are correct. You will not exist to go back in time and kill your dad. For thinking that, your dad should have kicked you in the *** harder and more frequently. :)
