I went on a search for my birth father once, as well. I found him by calling my paternal grandparents. Now with the Internet there are so many options. If you do a search you can find a lot of companies that will help you find missing people, for a fee. USSearch is one, it's very good. Do you have any idea where he might be living? The more details you can come up with, the better, especially the state you think he's in and his age. I wish you the best of luck and hope you aren't disappointed if you do find him. I know how you feel.

it could be more hurtful than helpful to find Him. My step daughter knew exactly who Her biological father was and, where He lived. when She was 21, She tried to contact Him and, He wouldn't even acknowledge Her existence. He also told Her never to try and, contact Him again. She See's Me as Her Dad and, I see Her as My Daughter, She was just curious. some people can be real asses with, no regards for the feelings of others. Good Luck.

Check your hospital records from your birth and see if they got more records on him, blood type, a possible address, or name. If they think it is for medical purposes, they may tell you something. I am guessing you already asked the authorities. Normally, if a birth parent is willing to be found they will contact that parent for you.
