why do they say people who died loved to laugh?

why do they always mention at funerals that the dead person loved to laugh? have you ever seen someone that was really angry when they laughed?

i saw this one guy who hated laughing, it was really creepy

because it makes the person come across as a happy go lucky type of person,
I mean..doesn't everyone like to laugh?
