Winter time, & what do you like to do in the winter? Because I am a woman and most women are the ones to decorate...that is one thing I like to do...I like the holidays as long as it's not too over done...Having friends and/or family over for dinner...When we do ever get some snow here in Texas we love to play in the snow...it's very rare here tho...But it is very cold...I like to light the fire place, drink some hot cocoa or egg nog with rum...mmmm... and watch a movie...I like it because you can curl up and get warm...Summer's great too..but just like the coziness of winter more...

For the first month after that I am longing for summer. I am Minnesotan and we get snow. And after the 3rd time shoveling snow that week it really loses it novelty. I once shoveled snow for 21 1/2 hours straight.

Yes I like winter too. I also live in Texas, southeast near the coast
and we hardly have winter, we really don't have much of any season except summer. I love it when a "blue norther" blows in, which is not very often, and the air gets crisp. That's when I like to cook a big pot of gumbo or chili and curl up and watch a good movie. Whenever the weather gets cool, or even better cold, that is when I want something baking in the oven, and smell those aromas drifting all through the house. I don't like daylight savings time either because it makes the days so long. I like when it gets dark at 5:30 and everyone can get settled in. Christmas is always so much better when the weather is cold. The tree smells so good the house is all warm....I can remember wearing shorts one Christmas in the early 70's and it just didn't feel like Christmas.
I love the winter and always dread the awful heat of the summer.
If I had my way it would be winter year round. We had a few flakes of snow this past Christmas eve but if you weren't outside you missed it. Well enjoy your cozy nights and hot chocolate and I will do the same. God be with you

I love it when it snows here but that's rare. I hate the cold rain and the long nights. The best thing is when the northern lights are out. It's not often here and usually hard to see with the rain and clouds but they're so beautiful and enormous. I like to make Christmas cookies and ornaments and I help with Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at the local senior center but I don't celebrate Christmas myself. I just like to see others enjoy their holiday.

I like Winter because the night is longer, and I'm more of a night person. Also, I like to eat heavy spicy food, and when it's hot you can't do a lot of that. I also like the secure feeling of being in a warm place when its snowy and cold outside. It's very peaceful.

Winter is okay, but I really don't like to be out in the cold weather. I like to watch the snow fall.

I really wish I liked winter like you
I'm a mail lady and I truly hate snow
I think if I didn't have spend so much time
outside in the cold I wouldn't hate it a much!

I hate winter and love summer, but I do like the first snowfall...i just wish it would melt quickly or not get dirty. I also LOVE snowball fights!
