I think Bob Segar has made some great music. He does everything from full-blown, barn burning Rock & Roll songs like Ramblin Man, Rock & Roll Never Forgets & Her Strut to mellow, tender songs like Turn the Page and We've Got Tonight.
He's got a great voice and a great band.
By the way.......if you haven't already heard them, check out Metallica's version of "Turn the Page" and "Chances Are" (Duet with Martina McBride from the movie Hope Floats - you can find it on his Greatest Hits 2 cd)
And you shouldn't have to apologize to your friends for your taste in music. There's a wide variety of music out there made by a wide variety of people and that music is loved by an even wider variety of people...........

Bob Segar is one of my favorites. He puts on one helluva concert too. In fact, he starts touring (promoting his new album) in November, in my home town - Grand Rapids, Michigan. He will be performing music from his first album in over a decade call Face the Promise. And he kept his same great sound....after all these years. I was second in line for tickets and he and his awesome band will be worth every penny. Can't wait !!

Bob Segar is an awesome song writer, musician and performer. He is still cranking out songs that touch my soul after all these years. Check out his latest,"Wait for Me". Plus he is a fellow HD rider so what so weird about that?

Being from Michigan, I was raised on Bob Segar. Its the type of music that brings back memories, gives you that good/sad "end of summer" feeling. Love it, love it, love it!!!

I dunno.
But if he sounds anything like Bob Seger, I'd probably like him a lot.
