Nope, gas costs $2.10 a gallon. Why do you bother trying to disguise your homework as a real life problem? Do you think we will be less inclined to answer your question if it is a homework question? Then you are right.

I assume you really meant 24 miles per gallon. Otherwise, this question can't be answered.
2218 miles * 1 gallon / 24 miles * $3.59 / gallon = 2218*3.59/24 =
$331.78
