So like I have to read the book 'A River Runs Through It' for school and while it is a very short book I am lazy and I have the movie. I was just wondering how similar the book and the movie are to each other and if I could get by with just watching the movie.

you should read the book rather than watch the movie version because the book is definitely better and at least, in the book you don't get to see brad pitt who destroyed the movie for his bad acting. cheers!
