Like instead of not being able to see letters right, its numbers. Because numbers look so weird to me, I might as well be looking at Chinese. I'm not stupid or retarded, when I was in school I always had a reading level well above my grade but I did horrible in math because numbers just dont make any sense.

I have problem with numbers. I constantly have to re-check to make sure I'm dailing the correct phone number.

I thought a girl gave me a fake number once, but I was switching a couple numbers and kept dialing this poor guy who swore the girl I was calling did not live there.

Dyslexia refers to any printed matter, and numbers can be even more confusing than words. If you can figure out part of a word you can often guess at the rest from the context, but you can't do that with equations or any mathematical calculations.
So yes, there is such a thing and no, there was nothing wrong with your reasoning power or your ability to solve problems, it was a simply dyslexic disability.

Sometimes this is called a "nonverbal learning disability" and remediation is available.
