I am doing a paper on women's issues, and I am curious to see if people have thought about this problem on a global scale. Thanks for your help. :)

There are still countries where women are bought and sold like cattle. there are many countries where women are relegated to the bottom of society (walk behind the man, can't vote, drive, learn, work, etc.,) these cultures have this issue woven into their form of government and religion. If sexual harassment is an issue in a free and equal society you can bet its going to be where there is neither freedom or equality. This doesn't even take into account the violent forms of sexual harassment. For instance in Darfor and in the Sudan, the government men cut off the breasts of pregnant Christian women and young mothers so they can't feed their babies. Now that's harassment!!!!

I have thought about it numerous times and YES it is absolutely a global problem.
The only major group on this planet not represented by the UN are women.
There is UNICEF for children but women are just as silenced and powerless in most countries on this planet, raped and demeaned and abused and harassed and nothing is done. No deep searches into masculinity on the planet and how to change men's ideas of women, just silence.

On a lesser scale there are places like Rome (and other places in Italy) where women are groped and goosed perpetually.
My girlfriend (in her 40s) had a PRIEST grab her cu** on a bus once!!!!
there is nothing holy.
Sexual harassment is absolutely a global problem, thanks for asking.

Yes! Sexual harassment is indeed a global issue. It takes different forms and ramifications. Both sex fall victims of this subject but the women specifically are the worst hit. Some of them are able to shed it off and move on with there lives but most live with the wounds for the rest of their lives.
Its actually pathetic when you hear some of the stories: some deserve what the get while most don't.
Nowadays, the third world countries of Africa, Asia and South America are worst hit because of the level of poverty prevalent in this nations.
My proposition however is to wage a global war against this inhuman act and make legislation that protect victims especially women and also encourage religious practises and moral values in our societies.
I hope your paper is able to provide shot and long term solutions to this menace - Good Luck.

I think it's occurence is global, especially in cultures where women's rights aren't seen as being very important, and I'm sure there are many womens' rights groups on the subject, but I also doubt there's enough interest in this. Sadly, many things will be tolerated for political reasons, that includes unequal treatment, even such things as FGM (female genital mutilation). Men aren't immune to mistreatment, but the problem is apparently much more common for women.

German Nazis considered Jewish a global problem. And they tried to kill them all. There is no difference today with Killul Hashem who direct you to march & invade other countries.
Ostensibly to "save women."

Yes, it is just as much a problem as Gender feminists who are biased against males-the new Untermensch. Every time you raise one citizen, you must crush the rights of another citizen.

Globalists just want us all to fight so corporations can continue making profits unfettered. By spreading extreme feminism into other countries, you 1) create permanent enemies of the USA 2) you must invade other countries to get them to listen to you 3) you help in the demise of the USA while help in the rise of Corporate Global control.

Lastly 4) you must destroy the middle class (ala America) to achieve your goals. You will be seen as the Nu Nazis & five billion + people will seek to destroy you & Hermerica***.

Good luck-Heil Hillary Clinton! Da Fuhrer
***Hermerica-for her (Hitler & Goebbels would love you.)

One day, I was doing a research on Japanese culture and there was a photo of a sign, in which someone translated as:

"BEWARE OF PERVERTS".

The effects of sexual harassment still isn't stressed enough - if caught, the harasser was fined or jailed for a few days, and then he just walked off. On the other hand, for the victim, was left either disgraced, humiliated, or to suffer with emotional issuals.
One moment, and then a ruined/changed life.

And with priests and health teachers screaming "ABSTINENCE PARTICAPATING IN SEXUAL ACTIVIES IS WRONG AT YOUR AGE", it's seriously a big rub on certain people.

Black Christians women are kidnapped by Arab Muslims and forced to be sex providers. Of course, I've told that African slavery is more like a min. wage job than real slavery, but I think the women are being harassed, at least.

The answer depends on whether we are imposing our definition on the practices of other cultures. If that is the case, then the answer is yes.

However, other cultures may not share the same view as we do. Because we think something is wrong does not necessarily make it wrong in other cultures.

I suppose we need to know where to draw the line.

Misunderstanding that results from differences in various cultures is one of the reasons why nations have gone to wars.

I think women shoving their vaginas and breasts in men's faces is a global problem. Women bring this on themselves. If they would simply try to get ahead through hard work, instead of trying to use their sloppy holes life would be much better for everyone.

Sexual harrassment only exist in countries where women have rights. If you get what im trying to say.

In other words, I have no doubt women get sexual harrassed wherever they come into contact with men, but not every country grants women the right to complain about it.
