I teach school so I have seen quite a few! Rocket - not a nickname and he lived up to it, - Precious Gift, and she wasn't, Sugar Brown ( her mom's name was Honey), Pajama- pronounced pa-ja- may- need I go on?.
I forgot the kid nicknamed "Frank" by his mother after they moved to the U.S.. He was Vietnamese and his real name was Phuc Yu. Swear to God! Truth is stranger than fiction!
