so this girl i used to be friends with about 2yrs ago got in a disagreement and have not talked since but my best friend now just contacted her online and tried to clear the air about what happened...since she has not heard from me that i am sorry she was not sure if she should believe it...so i sent her an im and said i was sorry and would appreciate talking...she has not responded and she is online should i just let it go?

Give her some time. She is probably trying to get her thoughts together. If she doesn't accept your apology, let it go. There is nothing more you can do. Good luck.
