I haven't heard of PETA committing any acts of terror. I think they have done things like throwing red paint on individuals' fur coats and stuff, and maybe vandailizing furriers and phramaceutical companies, but I don't think that legally rises to the level of "terror."

It may be public nuisance, disorderly conduct, property damage, or even a form of assault, or "making terroristic threats" if one wants to stretch it. But I haven't seen PETA commit overt acts of "terror."

I actually think PETA is a goof organization which aims to make animal rights people look like loonies. They are "The Onion" of animal rights groups...

For example, back in the late 90s, PETA had a campaign to change the name of Fishkill, NY to "Fishsave." The local news went out and asked people what they thought of that, and most said "Whaaaa....?" or "OMG that's SOOO stupid," and most laughed. PETA could NOT have been serious about that...

I think that some of their tactics border on fanaticism, but in order to be a "terrorist", one has to instill "terror". When I see and hear what PETA does, I laugh. Hardly the reaction a terrorist would get.

PETA is a fanatic organization, and it goes to extremes to get their point across. I personally feel that they go too far, and their tactics only make me want to eat another steak!

Terrorism is the systematic use, or threatened use, of violence to intimidate a population or government and thereby effect political, religious or ideological change.[1][2] Acts of terrorism are not intended to merely victimize or eliminate those who are killed, injured or taken hostage but rather to intimidate and influence the societies to which they belong.

Now that really sounds likes PETA..... the demonstrations with 1/2 naked models......did I miss something and they were hiding weapons to chop the heads off spectators????

WHAT PLANET ARE YOU ON??????

Most organizations are comprised of mainstream members and extremists. PETA certainly has it's share of extremists and those could certainly be classified as terrorists under known and accepted definitions. There are others within the organization who use legitimate means, i.e. debates, boycotts, and peaceful protests, to convey their points/beliefs.
