A lot of people will just read the material, and hope they remember it for the test. Don't do this!
The key to studying is knowing how to memorize things. Memory is funny, because some things you will remember the first time, and other things you can repeat them over and over, and still have trouble remembering. So, the key is to test yourself to find out what you know, and what you don't. Then, work on the stuff you don't remember. Say it aloud in your mind, or visualize it in a way that will make it trigger emotions. Also try to associate it with something you are very familiar with. Association and emotion are the biggest things that cause you to remember something. Some people remember the sounds of the words better than visualizing what the word is about, and some people are the opposite, so try it both ways and see what works best for you.
So to sum up: test yourself often, narrow down to the stuff you don't know, use association and emotion, and think about the sounds and visualizations to "burn it into your mind"

some people usually say that you should turn on music and do things u like while studying but its best to turn off everything and one would rather do anything then study so make only studying an option, not studying and music of something. Just concentrate on studying with no distractions and it would be really easy

Ok-
Here is an idea... GET OFF THE COMPUTER AND HIT THE BOOKS!!!
ok if you want some good study tips what you can do is make yourself a self test, to test yourself of the material. You can also make a study guide for the test. Also, you can just plain old fashion study your notes and your books. You can make notecards for needed vocabulary and definitions. You can do practice problems.
I REALLY hope this helps you. Now if you please, start studying!!!

Minimum lighting, as little background noise as possible(shut the t.v. off!), a little soft music if you must have some noise, take the phone off the hook, find a spacious area to study so you can spread out your books and papers and even a few pillows, and remember to give yourself scheduled breaks.
During the breaks, take a little time for some stretching/breathing exercises or fresh air and have lots of your favourite non-alcoholic drink available.
And APPLY YOURSELF or all is lost.
God Bless and thanks for reading.

That depends on you. Some people need it quiet, while others need it noisy. Some people like study buddies or groups and others like to solo. Taking good notes and reviewing them are key. Also, read your chapters as you go along and highlite key phrases. Don't procrastinate.
