hey dude, if ur using windowsxp professional, den it allows number of accounts 4 users to logon as the system administrator, limited account users, and also as a guest.....

Is ur sister is the Sytem Administrator or not??
If she is... den u need to face a problem!!!
If she is not.... no probs!!!

If u are the system administrator 4 da computer, den u can RESET the password 4 ur sister.... for doin this, jus simply follow the steps given below

--> goto Control Panel frm startup
--> click on the USER ACCOUNTS
a new window will open, showing al the members' (computer administrator, limited users) accounts.
--> Select ur sister's profile and Change the password or jus Remove the password....

Call the company that made her computer.
The same happened to me. I called Dell and they walked me through the steps to create a new password.

Shutdown and upon restarting tap F8
choose safe mode
choose Administrator
once in Windows safe mode
choose control panel
choose user accounts
change the way users logon and logoff accounts
remove check mark for Use the Welcome screen
restart computer

Try to login as Admin with password Admin - if this does not work, reinstall the operating system with the REPAIR option. Otherwise call Microsoft for other options.

cant log into windows or the computer itself ?.if it is the computer at boot up..find someone who knows about computers and have them use the jumper on the board and reset bios.or maybe try going into bios and setting everything to default,or original settings..if its when you log into windows.is it xp,windows 98,2000.?.just reformat the hd... or try these things .

u can also remove the clock battery of the mainboard and then replace it in its socket ..u should be able to log in then...depending on the o/s..
