I've lived in annarbor for 17 years and I hate big university students

I think that you're running into typical "townie" stuff here... "town vs gown".

Part of the reason that some are snobs is that they're sheltered from the real world, which has a way of smacking the sh*t outta people until they are no longer snobs.

Part of the reason is that the U tells them that they are somehow better than the normal person, and that the U is the best possible place to be (which is BS).

Then again, those of us who live outside of A2 often wonder why A2 residents are snobs... (grins).

It probably has to do with the wealth required to go to the school. I grew up in San Diego, CA. and students at UCSD have that same "upity attitude". But at UCSD its not as much the wealth as it is the grades you need to have to get into the school as a freshmen.

Whatever, the world will pull them down off their high horse... dont you worry. Either that or karma will.

why dont we think this way.They were anyways academically intelligent enough to get into ann arbour so maybe they are just proud of their achievements.II bet anyone in their shoes would be,isnt it?
