Who is taking it?

This is the best series and toughest to choose from. Its hard to go against 3 great starters in 5 games and win a series, thats what the Twins have to do. Pitching wins ball games and Zito, Blanton, and Haren are all very very good pitchers. Zito, Blanton, and Haren have a combined 46 wins, and Loaiza has another 11. But on the flipside it is a short series and that means 3 games gets you in and thats nice when Johan gets to pitch 2 of them against the worst offense in the playoffs. Plus the Twins have alot of offensive power with Mauer, Morneau, Hunter, and Cuddyer...tough decision but I honestly say the A's small ball the Twins to death and make this a very tough series...Twins win though in 5, to much offense against a horrible offense and just enough pitching...

Twins for previously mentioned Santana reasons and because the A's can't hit.

Edit: Oh and I should mention the Twins always play really well against the A's, beat them in the season series, and are carrying their momentum as the hottest team in baseball since the All-Star Break. Twins in 4.

Twins have home field advantage. Twins have better pitching and manager. I say Twins win in a surprise series that goes 7 games.

TWINS! First they'll down the A's in 3, then the Yankees in 4, then the Dodgers in 4. Pay back for 1965.

I think it's the Twins. They can get two wins out of Santana easily, then squeak out another one. That five game series thing works out great for teams with one super-ace. It's too bad the Twins lost Liriano or I'd take them to win it all. As it is, the winner of this series gets buzz-sawed by the Yanks in the next round, thus once again proving that the universe is corrupt and unjust.

A's.

The Twins will feel the wrath as Swisher and Thomas unleash their anger on them.

A's vs. Mets in the Series.
