Same sex marriages go against mainstream moral foundations. The basis for this are the Laws of Mother Nature and the Laws of God, both of which put male and female as partners in procreation and therefore life.

Allowing same sex marriage forces government sanctioning of an act a majority of voters still find objectionable and immoral.

It also forces corporate America to support a lifestyle that has high medical risks via healthcare, and will drive up healthcare costs.

It legitimizes an act that will continue to give high exposure to our children, forcing parents to deal with questions of homosexuality at an early age.

I do not think we should delve into the private lives by banning homosexuality but I also think we need to refrain from bringing such a lifestyle into the forefront of society.

The legal complications, eh? Given that "law" comes from our ability to predict what courts will do -- i.e., most of the time, what the judges will do -- one problem is that I don't know what the judges are going to do next in regards to marriage. How many different ways can "liberty" and "equality" be "defined" by judges? Given what they've been doing lately, I can't predict what they'll do next.

I have alot of gay friends, and The answer to your qiestions honestyl nothing!!

My mom is a lesbian and I would not change her for the world, now I do not agree totatly with her way of living but its her own choice who she lseeps with..
who am I to say other wise I am a free american just lik her and other american keep gay marriages from happening then they all should have something kept from them as well becuase thats not letting them be free or giving them the right of freedom..!!!

Here is the problem....

We are re-defining the definition of "marriage" without actually discussing it. The reasons that we allow gays and lesbians to be married will be used by other groups to gain approval, and we haven't thought that thru.

For instance... why just restrict marriage to 2 people? Poligamy has been around since Bible times, and has been openly practiced in the USA since at least the Civil War.

WE need to be clear -- legally, morally, etc -- when we move the legal and moral fences, as to who is allowed, and who is not allowed, and WHY.

I don't feel that there would be any more problems in a same sex marriage than one between a man and a woman. I feel everyone should be the people that they are and not someone that society thinks they should be! To each his own. I hope this helps.

That's a good one ... your "family structure" has been a farce from the get-go ... your "family structure" will break down because you have a narrow outlook on what a family is and can only be. So for you your "family structure" will break down because of fear and hate.

In the long-run you may consider counseling ...

Legal complications will be antiquated jurisdictions ruled by fear and hate .. (Christians) ...

For this reason a man shall live his father and mother and be joined to his wife and they shall become one.

At the end there shall be perilous spirits, men shall be lovers of themselves...

When you see these things, you know that the end is at hand.

No human has the right to judge another, when it comes to issues like this, but we all know that same sex marriage is wrong, no matter how some people try to twist the truth to favor their actions. All we have to do is to live the judgment to God.

The Bible says "A man must not lay down with another man" I do not believe in same sex marriages. I think it's disgusting. U wanted my opinion. Screw the legal complications. It's not moral.
