Women generally worry about looking older, because in many men's minds, their worth goes down as their looks fade. Men are visually stimulated, and some take this "stimulation" as proof of worth. This is, obviously, total crap.

Men aren't worried about loosing their looks as much as women are. Women are usually more mature about such things than men. We expect our guys to lose their hair and fine physiques , for we usually fall in love with the INSIDE person.

I feel it is when you consider that females of the equal age have a tendency to be extra mature than the guys. So, to have a person older simply turns out to suit larger. The adulthood as a larger danger at being degree or more potent on his facet. An older girl will probably be far more mature than a more youthful guy. Thus the conventional "Me Tarzan, You Jane" stigma is deleted.

well I don't know what color has something to do with what you asked but....men make a HUGE deal when they are getting old, I think women assimilate better the issue.

It probably has something to do with the fact that most advertising is done with white women. Thus we feel it is the standard for our race.

Because men get better looking as they get older. Men get "character lines", women get wrinkles.

Because it is upsetting for us. I think men have a different outlook on life. I cry on my birthdays, my husband is happy to be alive another year. I just think its all in the emotions. Women are more emotional. ;)
