Maybe. My eyes are hazel. I have 4 sons, one has blue eyes, one has dark brown, and 2 have hazel eyes.

It all depends on what is dominant or recessive in both of you. There is really now way to tell. The father of my daughters had green eyes and I have brown, but both of them have the brightest most brilliant blue eyes you've ever seen! My husband has hazel eyes and the son we had 9 months ago came out with dark brown eyes like mine at birth! You just have to wait and see. The same thing with hair color. I have red hair which is a recessive trait. My daughters came out with red hair like mine even though their father was blonde. And my husband has dark brown hair, and our son is blonde!

I've always been told that the eye color gene come from the fathers dad. My eyes are green, my sons fathers eyes are brown and our son has blue eyes. So you never know.

It all depends. My husband has brown eyes, but his father has blue eyes. I have blue eyes. I have no brown eye genes in my family. My husband has 50 percent blue and 50 percent brown eyes. I think that makes it that there is a quarter to half of a chance that our child will have blue eyes. The genes have to both be the blue eyed gene for our baby to have blue eyes because blue is a recessive gene. If our baby has one blue eye gene and one brown eye gene, then the baby will have brown eyes.

Maybe, maybe not. My husband has brown eyes and our son has blue eyes. I have blue eyes as well. My mother has green eyes, my father has blue eyes, and my brother has brown eyes.

It really does depend on his genes. I have a dark olive (Italian) complexion while my husband is blond with blue eyes and pasty white (he's English). Two of my four have his complexion; blonde with blue eyes; while two have mine, brown hair and brown eyes in the oldest boy but hazel in the youngest girl.

Not necessarily. I think brown is usually the dominant color, but it wasn't with us. My husband has brown eyes, and I have blue. Our daughter has bright blue eyes (and they're staying that way).

all depends on the genes, the sons eyes could be like the fathers, yours or a grandma/grandpas on either side
