I shave but not with cremes/creams but with the a hair trimmer. So I dont get those razor bumps. I clean and dry well. The pimples are on the Labias.

I dont apply lotions or creams there, I use cotton only undies, I havent changed detergents and I dont sweat excessively. But I remember this problem started after I suffered from chicken pox at the age of 26. And I was covered with Chicken Pox everywhere even under there!!!!

Sounds a lot like the boils I get. I agree to seeing a demitologist. Also, try washing daily with a soap called Hibiclens. It'll help clear them. I get boils frequently in all areas that I sweat--bikini line, between my "cheeks", in my pits. They're disgusting but there isn't a darn thing I can do but to control them. Eating better and taking a multivitamin helps to boost my immune system and thus cut down on breakouts. The soap I reccomended helps clear them up. And try wearing looser undies when you have a breakout--tight undies makes me break out.

Yes, right above the top of the crease is where most irritation from shaving is. Make sure that in the future you use a new razor because if the razor is starting to dull at all it will make the irritation worse. Also, pay attention to which way the hair is growing. When you shave your legs you shave toward your knee because your hair grows downward. If you were to try it the other way, you wouldnt get it smooth at all. Remember that our pelvic area is not even close to being as tough as our legs and the hair there is very different. The hair is much thicker, courser, and a lot of times 2-3hairs will grow from the same follicle which makes shaving a lot harder. To avoid these bumps you can buy products they sell for it at walmart or wherever it is that you shop as well. If you can master these techniques you shouldnt see those ugly bumps anymore. I also recommend pure aloe, because aloe is a healing agent and does not contain perfume and alcohol. Do not use a scented lotion because there is alcohol in it, and lets just face it, alcohol is just too harsh to be going down there. Hope this helps.

Vagina pimples are just like any other pimple that you get. They don't come very often, but will appear when you are stressed, or if a hair sometimes get caught in your underware and pulls it. But I guess it's different strokes for different folks. It's nothing to worry about and it is normal. As long as you know you don't have any std, rest assure it's another one of those things that we females go through. If you leave them alone they will go away or you can pop the pimple your self!!

To properly answer your question a little more information is needed.
Do you shave the area?
What material are your underwear made of(cotton, rayon, silk, etc).?
Have you applied any topical lotions or ointments?
Have you recently changed bath soap or laundry detergent?
Do you sweat excessivly in the injured area?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be having an allergic reation.

Since the vagina is a VERY moist place and always in contact with clothes, try sleeping without any underwear on at night. I used to get the same kind of bumps. Make sure you wash the hair thoroughly and dry and good as possible. Eliminating the amount of moisture will help eliminate the bumps. Like I said, try sleeping with no panties or at least with silk panties if you just have to wear some! Good luck!!
