this is not biology, it is math.

420 / 6

and a centimeter is 10 mm and a mm is 1000 micrometers
so seven of those guys:

70000 / (420 / 6) (my luck the decimal will be in the wrong place, figure that out)

This is an optics question not a biology question.
1. the size of a cell is 420/6=70 microns
2. the scale of the diagram is 7E-2 m/7E-5 m = 1E3 = 1000X
In microscocopy it is common to include an object of known size in the field of view for scale.
