1st how old are you? From the time you became sexually active until now have you noticed a decline in your sexual desire with age? My husband is going to be 29 and believes his sexual peak has come and gone. Is this true with you? He also mentioned that the sex was better when he was younger, is this normal? Does the sex get better with age? Does it depend on the person? - Thanks!

Does your husband exercise? Are there kids? Are there alot of career issues? Does he smoke, drink? R U still doing it for him?

All of these can contribute to an apparent loss of libido.

I am 48, so from my perspective, 29 is not over the hill. If you take care of yourself, there is no reason you can not enjoy a fulfilling sex life for mamy years.

Even small amounts of exercise make make an immediate difference. As a pre-foreplay activity, try going for a brisk walk at a fast pace for about 1 hour. Both of you. I can guarantee for him, he will notice a greater rush at the climax, simply b/c his cardio-vascular system is warmed up.

Simply, you have to maintain your engines for peak performance.

60-something. Yes, age affects your sexual ability but not necessarily your enjoyment. My desire is/has always been very high. A couple years ago there were some failures that could have been caused by HBP or the fact that I was not in love and my partner was unresponsive. Sex was, is and has always been wonderful, but I think there is a difference, maybe a desire to make quality now instead of quantity. Now that I'm settled with new wife, I enjoy sex a great deal, and so does she.

Your statement that hubby believes his peak has come and gone worries me. Something is going on here, like he may be stressed, overworked, OR UN-STIMULATED. If it's the latter, then the challenge is yours to solve. Good Luck.

PS. The one thing I cannot resist is when she stimulates me orally. Once aroused in that way, she gets her way. If that should not work, definitely have him visit his doctor for a testosterone level test. My doc gave me one but it was normal.

Jes,

It all depends on the person, although men's sexual drive and stamina does go down with age.

I myself am 35 years old. I have been with the same partner (my wife) since 1992, and although we are both getting older every year (as does everyone) , our sex life has never been better. The only thing that did change was her own desire for sex, which has slightly dropped from a few times a day to a couple times a week now. This actually works better for me since it allows me to properly "recharge" between sessions!

So it does depend on each person. Although I myself am getting older, my desire and drive is far from fading the way most men normally do.

Cheers

I'm 34. I think your husband is correct. A man's prime is in his late teens to early twenties while a woman's prime is her early thirties. Although I always make sure my woman is satisfied. I do believe the sex was better when I was younger but I was more out going, if you know what I mean. I don't know if the sex gets better with age...I think I'm just more experienced and know how to satisfy a woman in every way. I also think it depends upon the person and how freaky they are. I think your question is awesome and don't forget to smile because someone is smiling at you.

Ehm..
Most often premature ejaculation occurs in younger men, but it can affect men of all ages. There could be a number of different reasons for the problems, both physical and psychological. The good news is that there are certain solutions available that have proven effective, such as the Ejaculation Trainer (see site here http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=565), which can show a man how to develop permanent ejaculation control. By successfully addressing a man’s ejaculation concerns and teaching him how to control it, he will quickly become more confident and both he and his partner will be much more satisfied.
Bye

I am 19. no, my desire is still growing. I don't think I have hit my sexual peak yet. I think that generally sex when your younger is better (i get that I am still on the younger part here) but the reason why I think that is because anytime I have had sex with someone in the past it just seemed like something I wasn't supposed to be doing because I was so young so therefor it was naughty and hot.

yeah, I'm not quite as big a horn ball as I was when I was 18.

I think more late 30's milfs should be hooking up with early 20's guys. that's probably where the most fireworks would happen. I LOVE milfs...hmmmm, maybe I am as big a horn ball as I used to be

love grows with age but alas its a fact that sex drive does diminish with time.

So far so good with me, i still have a healthy sex drive and a happy and responsive partnerner with whom i have been for some 40 years.

all people are different but at 29 i would have been asking my doctor whats wrong with me if my sex drive was diminishing. I am 56 years of age.

Excessive sex can lead to this problem.Your husband needs total abstinance for 2 months and good, nutritive diet. He will regain his sexual desire definitely.
