Can a student who never played sports as an undergraduate play sports as a law student? Does the four years of eligiblity start when a student is a freshman, or does he have four seasons to play total while a student? And does it matter if the student goes to a different school than he went to for his undergraduate?

the likelihood of you being able to make the team should be more to the point

As far as I know, you should have all of your eligibility left if you have never played an NCAA-sanctioned sport.

However, you only have a total of 5 years of eligibility, beginning with your first enrollment at your undergraduate institution. So you could at most play one year.

Yes since you haven't use any eligibility.

It applied for me as a graduate student, at least....

I had to speak wit the AD since I think some paperwork had to be filed.

Yes, you can play. If you have never played, you still have all of your eligibility left.
