yes it is medically possible to conceive while already pregnant. Do not think it is very common however i have heard of it happening before, Once i read that it was proven that a woman had sexual relations with 2 different men within the same week while she was at her most fertile time and due to the paternity test both men were proud papas...
the human body is an amazing thing.

LOL thats a funny one. Are you saying the same night or a month later? The same night, sure it could be possible (twins). A month later I would say no, because the body produces a hormone after the egg is fertilized that causes ovulation to stop and the cervical fluid to change making it impossible for sperm to get through. There is always the freak of nature chance though!

Actually, I think it is possible but EXTREMELY rare. I know a guy who's wife was pregnant with twins but when they went in for that last ultrasound (right around 36 weeks or so) they discovered that the boy was one month behind the little girl in growth. The doc's only explaination for this was that she conceived the little boy a month later than the little girl. Which is bizarre to me...how did they not catch that on previous ultrasounds???

NO, a woman can't conceive lower back collectively as she is pregnant. whilst a woman conceives, the tiers of progesterone in her physique develop dramatically. Progesterone is a hormone that prevents ovulation (for this reason it extremely is utilized in start administration pills), and makes the uterus hospitable for gestation (for this reason the call "professional-gest" meaning merchandising gestation). to handle cookie's counter occasion, this is how that grow to be achievable: whilst the female had intercourse with one guy, those sperm stayed interior her reproductive tract for each week. particular, sperm can stay to tell the story interior the reproductive tract for that long. Then whilst she had hook-up #2, those sperm got here into the mixture. She grow to be in all probability ovulating approximately that element and released 2 eggs into the Fallopian tubes. each of those eggs grow to be fertilized with the help of a differnt sprm froma diverse father. that's how she wound up with dizygotic twins with diverse fathers. yet besides that, lady desires some extreme start administration, or according to probability greater advantageous determination making skills. Unprotected intercourse with dissimilar companions is a diverse probability for STDs.

my ex-sister in law was somewhat of a (how to put this nicely?) umm well she got around alot. Anyway, so she got pregnant with twins. So she said this guy was the dad. Well they did a DNA test and he was only the dad of one of them. They tested this other guy and he was the dad of the other. If you have sex with someone then sex with someone else in a very short amount of time it is possible.

I'd say so. If you dropped more than one egg, then one of them was fertilized, then a few days later you have sex and fertilize the other. You would never know the difference. You'd just have twins and it would be assumed they were fertilized at the same time.

Odds are something in the billions to 1, but I have heard of one case where twins had different fathers. It is possible that other sets of fraternal twins were concieved at different times, but impossible to prove if they have the same father.

No. That is completely impossible.

Why is everyone getting thumbs down for giving the right answer? You can't get pregnant when you're already pregnant. Some people ask the stupidest questions.

I highly doubt it. Maybe in the first little while, but that's still very unlikely.

If you're maybe a week or 2 along, a very slim "Maybe," but 2 or 3 months- I doubt it!
