ALL ORGANIC compounds have CARBON and HYDROGEN .OTHER elements involved are NITROGEN and OXYGEN.
INFACT Organic chemisty is all about CARBON AND ITS COMPOUNDS.
CARBON HAS A CAPABILITY OF FORMING LONG CHAINS DUE ITS TETRAVALENCY. so many compounds does it forms that they are studied separately.

Every molecule which contains Carbon (C) is and organic molecule.
If its molecule does not have any carbons then it is not considered to be organic.

By the other hand, there is another definition which explains that every compound which is produced by a living creature is to be considered organic. And that explains why some scientist consider water (H2O) to be an organic compound even dough it does not contain carbon.
