You bet I am! I live about 8 blocks from Busch, been following the Cards since 85 when I was about 9 years old.

And I agree, Pujols is the best player in baseball. My favorite "Non-star" would have to be Scott Spezio though. Man, that guy has been clutch for us this year.

No, not really, I think Albert Pujols is probably the best baseball player of the current time, because of his clutch hitting. But I am not a fan overall of the Cardinals, I think Larussa almost cost your Cardinals the Central title, and If my Astros would've actually played like they finished the Cards would be sitting home right now, lol, if only we had 1 more week to watch Larussa blow yalls lead, it wouldve been fun to watch how many games ahead we would've been considering how far we were back with only 12 games to go, hope yall win the World Series, cause I usually root for the Central Division to win it all even when the Astros arent there. Too bad Pujols cant come to the Astros, can you imagine a lineup with Pujols 3rd, Berkman 4th, and Luke Scott 5th, I wouldnt want to... :D .

Yes, I am a huge fan of both Pujols and the Cardinals! I think the Cards are a better team with Wainwright closing instead of Isringhausen plus they have the added power of Chris Duncan! With Albert Pujols leading the Cards I think they will beat the the Padres even if it takes 5 games.

Pujols rocks! I've been a bit of a Cardinals fan ever since rooming with a friend (a *huge* fan - R.I.P.) about 20 years ago. His view was that they were a "winning team," unlike the Cubs. Every time I find myself pulling for them, I think about ol' "Chunder" and what he might be thinking about their success (or lack thereof).

Under Herzog--yes. Under Larussa-no.

Pujols is great but that team is not really all that good. Plus they're boring and bland. Give me Baker McBoo, Willie McBoo and the '80s Cards over this lot.

Albert is a great ball player, can't deny that. But the Cards have little to no chance of beating the Padres.
