A couple of days ago, a friend in my French class asked me if I wanted to buy some weed. And last week, I saw this asian kid at the lunch table pass a small plastic bag filled with some green-planty stuff. Now, I'm a born-again hardcore Christian, but the majority of the school aren't. How should I get some friends that actually care about their life?

you need to seek them out. they are there, ask questions, sit elsewhere.
ask you councillor or student services if there are any Christian clubs in your school. If you don't think this is a possibility, then do some footwork.
what about your church youth group?

your going to have to look and find the ones who care about their life and take it seriously. It's hard to find ones who believe in the same things that you do. But I am sure if you look hard enough you will find a few. People can have lots of friends but having a friend who will stick by you and be there for you no matter what are really hard to find. If you go to church find people who go to your school there and get together with them. If not than you got to just start talking with others and find out more about them and start making new friends. Let your friends now that you dont really like how they are dealing with life and hope they can change the way the look at it.

Sometimes you have to 'burn your bridges'. Being a born again Christian I would think you would meet kids at church you have something in common with. If you get into trouble, don't blame the other kids. You have freedom of choice.

Join a school activity. Most kids heavily involved in a sport or fine arts program don't have time for crap like that, or are genuinly focused people who know they'd have a lot to loose if they got involved in that stuff.

I hope that helps! :)

Stupidity is part of the life and if you see it, is not reason to be sad. The problem is the help sometimes is coming too late.
Be yourself and not follower and treat the sick people friendly.

If you know that they're bad influences, why didn't you leave them when you had the chance? Well, all I can say is that when you get rid of these people, look to see which people suit your interests.

Forget schoolkids. Get involved with a Bible study group or youth group at church. Surround yourself with good influences and others on fire for God!
