Here are some things I've been in the past:
-A sexy witch: black top, long black skirt w/ slit, knee high boots, witch hat, dark make up.
-A fallen angel: Minidress with fishnets, boots/heels, wings (you can buy them at a costume store or make your own; I made mine from cardboard and covered it with aluminum foil. They looked awesome).
-A geisha: Kimono, geisha style makeup (white face, red lipstick, black lined eyes with a hint of red).
You could also go as a nurse, cop, angel, devil, vampire, fairy, pirate, superhero, sailor, gangster, bunny, hooker, a famous character or celebrity. The possibilities are endless.

for Halloween my friend is going to make a super cute Tinkerbell costume that we saw that was made for little kids. I'm going to make a costume to be another fairy tale creature. Pick your fav. disney/movie/whatever caracter(prefferably human), make a costume of them and wear it. not only will you look great but u'll have the satisfaction of telling people that you made it yourself.
