Mets for sure. Dodgers don't have much of a chance against the Mets. Mets will make it to the World Series.

The Mets obviously have the best starting lineup in the NL, by a mile. But who are they going to throw up there to pitch that isn't ancient or incompetent?
I actually think the Padres may be set up better for a playoff run, especially if Peavy comes around to his old self. They have three starters as good as anyone else's (excepting the Cards' Carpenter). All they have to do is play solid D, manufacture a run or two, and hope Hoffman doesn't have another playoff blowup.
Either way, the winner gets annihilated by the AL team.

i like the mets but without pedro it may be hard in a do or die series if they dont win then dodgers for sure but at the very beginning of the season i called the Dan Patrick show and said Oakland vs NY Mets so i am sticking with it

Gotta go with LA! Both teams have superior offenses and cluth hitters, so pitching will definitely decide the series. I'd rather go with Lowe, Maddux, and Penny vs. Trachsel, El Duque, and Glavine. Dodgers starters know how to win in the post-season. Pedro-less Mets also hurts their chances.

The Dodgers. Their team is made up of mostly former Braves. The Braves are experienced at kicking the Mets butts.

The Phillies beat the Rockies in 4 video games. The Phillies have a greater offense, reliable beginning pitching (despite in the event that they have not shown it plenty recently), and the adventure to win. The Cardinals beat the Dodgers in 5 video games. the two communities have been looking somewhat drained recently, yet i think of the Cardinals have the pitching to win this series. The Twins will beat the Tigers. The Twins have been working their butts off to make this great comeback, and the Tigers have been sinking like the great.
