None of this stuff should matter. I wish all boundaries that separate the human kind could be torn down. I wish there was only one religion, the religion of humanity.

Race, is what makes us beautiful and unique. If only everyone could see the beauty in just being alive.

Religion should be wiped of the face of the earth. What else has caused more pain and suffering since the beginning of time. There should be one faith..faith in the power of good, the power of humanity.

Color revitalizes the senses and keeps the world from being boring. When I see a rainbow of different human beings enjoying themselves together I think it is the most beautiful thing in the world. It should be smiled upon like a priceless work of art.

Every BODY is beautiful. The body is an intricate labyrinth of complexity.

And think, if there were no political parties, people would just have to hear the issues and vote for the person best suited to deal with the issues. Not for the person the rest of their party says is the person for the job. If there were less emphasis on who's who of what party, we could deal with just the raw issues.

But that's not the way it is, and we can only hope that humanity can continue to survive, and learn to be empathetic, compassionate, and understanding.

it doesnt matter to me. I could care less if someone was a 500 lb. purple republican buddist. I hate stereotypes, and actually get really irritated at a lot of that stuff that i see. It only affects my life in that i feel bad that someone gets picked on or treated horribly or differently just because they are black, mexican, pagan, fat, or whatever other difference they could have. And when i can, i do say something, and usually that is enough to make the person being rude feel stupid enough to shut up. He/she may leave irritated or mad, but at least they quit giving the other person a hard time. More people should do it.

To whom is this question addressed? A person's political stance IS very important to me. I could be friendly to a person whose politics aren't the same as mine, but I certainly couldn't marry one. My core beliefs are too strong to share life with someone who doesn't share similar ideas. Race, religion, language, etc. etc. don't matter to me when it comes to making friends, etc. In fact, I'm short, fat and white, and have been married to a tall, very dark, very thin, handsome Black man for 27 years! (Boy! Have we caused everything from open mouths to people refusing to shake hands during "Peace" at Mass.) (Oh yeah, we're Catholic, too!)

Does this effect my life? Only in that I married for love, and we are compatible because of similar core values and upbringing.

Do I care? Yes, I care very much when people are intolerant, self-centered, and stingy!

I feel you, though, when you ask why what some people do bothers others so much. I had to tell some drunken heckler who followed us thru' the State Fair making nasty remarks that I didn't see why our choice bothered him so much--that neither of us would have been interested in him if we were single...(HaHa). He DID wander off after that, tho'.

Peace...and keep the faith!

Because people want to feel as though they are always right. None of these issues can ever really truely be proven there for everyone is right and everyone is wrong. Religion matters to me, but aside from the Bible, I can't physically prove that I am right but I feel I am and that's what matters to me. I would like to say that none of these issues effect me, but in reality I think that they effect us all. If one bad think is said to you from someone on the other of one of these issues you can find yourself analizing everything.

Religion matters to me.

Everything else matters because it matters to the people who are in power who can control public opinion, promote people within society and government, and demolish them as well.
