Sounds like you might be experiencing iron loss. It can come from having a heavy menstrual cycle. Talk to your doctor about a daily multivitamin and if you need an additional supplement.Also you may want to increase certain foods to help with the iron loss issue.

I always got so sleepy during my periods regardless of how heavy the flow. Try getting as much rest as you can during these episodes. a good nights sleep may make things better the next day. headaches are normal during periods. Tylenol or mix vinegar and hot water and wet a cloth with this wring it out and place it on the forehead and lay in a quiet dark room change the cloth when it starts to get cool.

I have the same problems. My mother told me that as soon as I had a baby this would stop. I had a baby five years ago and the problems are BACK! I think it's the low iron. I hope this is the correct answer because I'm pretty tired of it all. This month I'm suppose to start a multi-vitamin and see if it works. I'll let ya know. Hope that helps you too!

If your periods are heavy you can become anemic. Which means your red blood cell count is low. Red blood cells carry the oxygen. If you don't have enough you will feel tired. Try taking a vitamin with iron in it. Eat a lot of green leafy vegetables. Red meat also has a lot of iron.

Eat red meat - steak, roast, beef ribs, etc. Take the PMS medicine for your headaches. It's tough but it's very common to have all of this. Try to exercise for more oxygen in the blood. Even a walk will do.

Yes, and I get migranes with my periods. My doctor recommended taking Magnasium supplements & low dosage of Iron supplement as well. Loss of blood can make you really tired & iron helps build up your blood cell count. Magnasium will help with the headaches.

You arr probley becoming anemic, which can be caused by heavy bleeding. Eat a diet high in iron during the PMS and period time. Also, stay away from the caffiene...I KNOW, I KNOW...but it will help to eliminate the headaches!

You need to see a doctor because your iron is low. If you don't get some sort of iron suppliment, you could become anemic. Take vitamins and eat lots of green leafy veggies until you can get into the doctor. Good luck :)

You need to make an appointment first thing and talk to a doctor if you do not regularly experience heavy menses. It could be a sign of an underlying problem, better to be on the safe side.
