Nothing makes a difference. The world's as dark as it's always been, and that's never going to change. If anything, it's only getting darker.
I used to think technology made the world a better place. Life was easier, more convenient...more time for the individual to relax and realize himself. Now I'm more aware of technology's other side, the side that isolates and alienates and mass-communicates anything; even the filthiest aspects of human existence is only a Yahoo! Search away from a child to drown himself in.
Maybe we'd be better off on the end of some barbarian's spear than lost in ourselves and this age's soul-sucking commercialism. No, I don't wish I was born 100 years in the future, because I'm afraid life would be even emptier and real human connection would be even harder to find.

Humans would be even more artificial and manipulated that they are already.
Brainwashing would be at alarge and no one would know anything appart from what they are told. This is the path of consumerism, and the media destination. I d rather go into the past like the Terminator and see where did it all go wrong, and fix it.
The future s dark! Lets live in the right time and make ourchanges to gurantee it wont go wrong.
Note This year the world spent $560billion (american miliards) on weapons all time record. and only $30 billion on development and for the poor. That our direction and its not a smart one.

You know, I was born before jet planes were invented, before penicillin, before electricity was available in rural areas of the south, before running water was available to homes in the south.
My mother and grandmothers were born before people had stoves in their homes on which to cook. They cooked on open hearths.
On the other hand, my children were born after men landed on the moon, had their own computers as young children, had clothes that had elastic, synthetic fabrics, year round heat and air conditioning, braces for their teeth, medicines and health care, automobiles and airplanes, etc.
Think about the exciting times we live in right now! At least, to old codgers like me they are exciting. I have lived in the equivalent of 4 - generations and every day is even more exciting to me than the last.
I'm happy now and would be in 100 year if I were lucky enough to live that long.

You will be in most cases. When you die you will be back again unless you live this life perfectly. So a hundred years would be just about right for you. You are reborn to learn another valuable lesson and to strengthen your spirit. Just think you may come back over and over and over and over.
As for me I hope this is my last trip. I hope I have learned enough to become someone elses spirit guide.
