Probably not. They are so jacked up on steroids, cocaine, and adrenaline which inhibits sound sleep.

i played three years of college football and it all depends onthe game if you lose big yeah you are mentally beat if you lose or win a close game you always think about what you could have done to better the game and hence no sleep if you win big you sleep very well after a party or two and if you lose bad the plane ride home is very eerie and creepy because no one wants to talk and al you hear is the engines roaring i can only imagine what the coaches plane is like but i was on the offense plane and there is only sleeping

Yeah usually unless the player had a really bad game. Happened to me once and I couldnt sleep for 3 days straight.

i dont usually on a great winning game im too excited to sleep but losing games i usually wake up around 3:00 a.m. and watch tapes of our next teams previous games and scout em so we can practice

Yes, they do. i have a son that plays football (high school). by the time he gets home from the game, he crashes either on the couch, in the recliner or in his room.....where ever he gets still first.
