Pregnant while taking birth control?
I won't ask the typical "Am I Pregnant" question and give you my symptoms but I need an answer to this. I am on birth control and this is the week I am supposed to have my period. Since I am not getting it, could this mean I am possibly pregnant?

Yes it is. Birth control is not 100 % effective and I know several women who have became pregnant while on it. Be sure and take a pregnancy test first thing in the morning.

I was on BC for nearly 4 years. I was about a week or two late and I took a pregnancy test only to find out I was 3 weeks pregnant! Talk about a surprise! Don't forget, BC is only 97-99% effective. Take a Digital at home test, they're the best! Goodluck.

It's possible. Do you ever miss pills? Even if you don't, bc pills aren't 100% effective. It could be stress too. Sometimes that will cause you to miss a period. I'd take a home pregnancy test if it were me. You should find out asap, because if you are pregnant, you need to stop taking the pills. Good luck!

ABSOLUTELY. Read the fine print on the directions that came with the birth control - hormonal contraception (pill, patch, shot, Depo, etc.) does not guarantee that you will not get pregnant. It DOES make it almost certain that you will not carry a pregnancy to term. The hormones create a hostile environment in your uterus and does not allow a fertilized egg to implant itself in the lining, which it must do in order to grow. Hormonal forms of contraception are abortifacients; conservative estimates are that your body will abort at least one pregnancy for every year that you are on the pill (or patch, or shot, etc.) - and you may never even know it. They also increase your risk for breast cancer and your risk for becoming infertile after 5 years of consistent use.

You could be. I was taking my birth control real strict but I still got pregnant. It's not 100% at protection. But you never know it could just be your birth control making you miss your period. Imiss another or keep any other pregnancy symtoms then you need to see a doctor. I hope I half way helped.

Birth control is not 100% fool proof. Please take a home pregnancy test! I know this is not what you probably want to hear, but it is better to check this out ASAP then you can look into your options. Good Luck.
