Those pontoon things are lifesavers - not the round flavored kind with the hole in the middle - but hygiene lifesavers. They come in different absorption strengths depending on how heavy your flow is. As far as wings go, I personally don't like them. Can't wear them when you wear a thong.

have you ever wanted to feel pretty like an angel? i'm sure you have and so does every other woman out there... the wings are just a little "cheer-me-up" so that when you look down at your panties, you'll know that you're an angel! :)

The wings are there to hold the panty liner on the panties they also protect the panties from the spills that fall on the sides of the undies....

The "wings" have tape on them to hold them onto the womans panties so they wont slip around or fall out...
