Ok this is going to sound ridiculous.

But i had wasted four years in high school. I was in grade 10 at the age of 13 which means i should have been in university when i was 16. Anyway, i wasted a lot of time. I just didn't study or anything like that. Plus, i was homeschooled which made it easier to slack. So... after two years of being in grade 12, i decided to upgrade math, chemistry, and biology. Since i wasn't used to studying in a school, my marks were really down. And my math teacher said to me that i couldn't do better on the FINAL exam. Like i would worse no matter what. So i got it in my head that i would prove her wrong even though everything pointed otherwise. So i studied my *** off, i studied everyday for a week before my exams. And then i went in there. I met my average. This may sound so retarded and ridiculous. But i actually surpassed what my teacher thought i was capable of. And i was shocked at myself....

Like i said, this is ridiculous but defenitely one of my more prouder accomplishments.

I thought I could NEVER get on stage in front of thousands of people and perform professionally. "NO WAY!," I proclaimed. Wasn't true! But I found I was way more self-conscious about impressing the other musicians than I was about the audience. I'd just pick somebody out there to look at (if I could even see past the lights) and I'd see if they were bopping to the music or not. (They usually were) Makes me feel faint just thinking of the first few times up there. The band guys were very nice to me.
