ok i have a 1994 acura integra rs atou trans, and i had some valve done to my car awhile ago because one of them was ticking pretty loudly, but now that it is not ticking and working fine (valves) my car in the morning turns on fine but the rpms sore down to 0 (zero) and the car shuts off most of the time when i put into drive right away without letting it warm up, now i was told that the timing belkt is badd, but i dont know, i really dont want to put a new one if i dont have too, what do you think???.......professionals please help me!!!....please let me know if you need more info to figure out what it may be!...thanks alot!!

I really need some more info, but I'll try and help with what you've given me. Was the head actually removed for a valve job? If so, the timing could be off, but that usually only causrs a rough running condition and lack of power.
Check the districuter on the passenger side of the motor. There should be marks where the bolts that hold it in place have left marks. If they are off, that definetly could cause a low idle and stallling issue. Try and loosen the three bolts slightly and turn the distributor while the car is running and see if it smooths out. That's about all you can do without a timing light.

thats total bullshit , they left a vaccum line off somewhere when they tore it down to do the lifters. open the hood and start the engine get out and listen to the engine while its running listen for a hissing sound this will tell you its a vacumm hose left off. ok. email me if youd like and i can explain it to you further if youd like.
