She said she does not think she can call it off. She just graduated from Colombia and shes training to be a nurse. She also has feelings for women. I told her to take a break for a month and see if they can live together again. She still loves him and wants to have his kids. What should she do to minimize the damage for him, whom shes worried most about.

If she does love him or have feelings for him, the kindest thing she could do for him is be honest. He may feel hurt for a while, but it will hurt a lot more later if they are married and have children. Let him go on and find a woman who can truly love him without all these other issues. He has a right to a happy life too. She'll be doing him a favor by breaking up.

She loves that man, not you. Let her go. Let her have a future, and children, and the many different adventures of life (of which you are one, but not all). Think about it. Wouldn't it be unfair to limit her? And, in fact, is it not possible that the glow she has from having loved him is one of the things that made her attractive to you?

dont call it off if they are wanting to stay together, just maybe postpone the wedding back and give them a month or so to get things worked out..he may really dig the fact that she is also into women...but thats up to them.

She needs to be honest with herself about why she wants kids, why she wants to get married, and what she will expect life to be if she decides to 'settle' for something she isn't sure about.
The sooner she decides what to do, then the less trouble she is for him. Maybe he's ok with her being bi for a trial period, but that's really up to her to think about and bring it up.
The worst is if she gets married, has kids, THEN decides she wants to go to the other side. tick tick tick tick

I'M NOT SURE WHAT YOUR QUESTION IS. THE WAY TO BREAK OFF A FORMAL ENGAGEMENT IS TO RETURN THE RING & MAKE THE CORRCT STATEMENT. THIS HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.
