I live in florida and have no clue what the weather is like in Chicago any ideas on what to wear or where to look would be much appreciated.

It is very cold there at that time of year but the room will be heated. Wear something with sleeves. Check to see if it is formal, semi formal or informal. Dark colors look best in the winter. You will need a warm coat to wear to and from the wedding and possibly boots if it's snowing.

Wear dress pants and a nice top. You can wear a nice jacket/sweater over top. I live even farther north than Chicago and its probibly colder here. I would wear a skirt and nice long sleeve shirt and just suck it up. If its cold, who cares, you'll be inside most of the time in a crouded place. I recently went to a wedding, i wasnt cold, i was getting hot from all the dancing i did. I had a wonderful time and i hope you do too.

a nice pants suit or a long skirt and a long leather or fur (fake or real your choice ) coat. oh and dress boots
