He cannot get rid of the felony, but he can get an education. A person with a felony and a degree has more opportunities that a person with a felony and no degree. If finances preclude a batchelor's degree, substute an associate degree or certificate as applicable.

I think a company would hire a person with a felony if they see the person has made big changes in their life. Also, as the years pass, everyone forgets about the felony. New managers come and go. If the guy with the felony is with the company for awhile, a new manager would not get his old application out and look at it.

he needs to study on how to get a pardon by the governor. really this is possible. tell him to look into it. i am a supervisor and i hire and fire people. a felon is one of the first things i look into when considering a new hire. the governor is the only person that can give him his rights and good name back.if successful he will then be able to vote again. he will even be per mitted to own a firearm
