Just try being friends.Start dating other guys and ask him for boyfriend advice.If he decides to ask you out first tell him just as friends.Try to let things flow.If he talks about your friend try to hook them up again.Since that "worked out so well the first time",he'll realize your perfect for each other.Just keep your kool and be yourself.GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

You have to decide what is more important to you-- your friendship or the guy who might like you. It would be expecting too much to think you can have both in your life. My personal thought is that it's uncool to date the ex of any of one's good friends, even if the friend is "over" the ex-- I consider it to be an unspoken rule of respect between friends.

DON'T DO IT! Never take your friends crush or ex. It's almost an unspoken rule. The guys will come and go but your friends will be there. You gotta have their back! Even if dating him doesn't ruin your friendship it will definitely hurt it!

omg the same thing hapend to me!!!! well after about a week i asked him if its ok if i go out with his ex and he said i dont care we're over. but you should ask your freind if its ok and if she says no, then shes not a real freind because she would be keeping you from someone you liked. my freind said yes and i now have a gf.

If she wants him so bad then she should go and get him. I was in this situation. I say, go and ask out the guy. If your friend gets mad tell her that she should have thought about it before she dumped him.
